Experience
I held a fundraising position in my sorority, Sigma Delta Tau. Throughout this position, I had the responsibility of planning fundraisers once a month. This was a leadership role that required strong communication and planning skills. I also had to create flyers on Canva for each fundraiser. I was successfully able to plan these fundraisers and raise a significant amount of money for the sorority.
As a student at UT, I completed one Marketing Internship. I had a marketing internship with Minetum Consulting, where I learned how do create social media posts, write blogs/newsletters, and sales. This internship helped me gain insight into all sorts of marketing tactics and skills.
I worked at a clothing store called Dry Goods. My position was a keyholder, which had the responsibilities of a sales associate, as well as completing paperwork for opening and closing shifts. I also worked at a local deli in my hometown, where I was responsible for taking orders and serving food from the bakery. Throughout these two jobs, I was successfully able to learn how to communicate well with other people and make sure customers were satisfied with their purchases.
